You should check your window locks (and doors) immediately after service professionals leave because workers often leave them unlocked for convenience while moving equipment or to provide easy access for future entry. Making sure they are securely fastened maintains your home’s security, validates your homeowners’ insurance policy (many require all entry points to be locked), and prevents children or pets from accessing open, unsecured windows.
What’s one of the most important decisions you’ll make when selling your home? The asking price. Many homeowners start by checking an online estimate. It’s fast, free, and feels like a quick answer. Online estimates can be a starting point, but they should never be the final answer.
